HIN TA & HIN YAI   : -

Hin Ta and Hin Yai (Grandfather and Grandmother Stone) are strangely shaped granite boulders at the south of Lamai Beach, crafted by the elements to resemble male and female genitals.

A local story tells of an old couple whose ship was wrecked in the bay. Their bodys were washed ashore to create the rocks.

The large underwater sand area between the rock formations provides dive students or snorkelers with a perfect place to practice amid lush underwater life.
